Ligesom meget af albummet er det iskoldt, stilfuldt, pompøst og selvoptaget, hvilket er den direkte modsætning, i det mindste lydmæssigt, til hans forrige album, den maudlin, bekendende Queen of Denmark, som blev lavet med hjælp fra de længselsfulde Texas-folk-rockere Midlake.
