Dette er et unikt originalt soundtrack med sange og instrumentale stykker fra den finurlige film fra 1988. Lydsporets midtpunkt er den Oscar-nominerede "Calling You", skrevet af Bob Telson og fremført af Jevetta Steele. Den livlige optræden af "Brenda, Brenda" er fanget, ligesom andre musikalske mellemspil fra filmen. Anden halvdel af soundtracket byder på en fortælling om historien om Bagdad Café, fortalt af filmens instruktør og medforfatter, Percy Aldon. De fleste af sangene til denne film er skrevet af Telson, og hans egen version af "Calling You" er inkluderet.
