Bartos var medlem af den tyske elektroniske gruppe Kraftwerk mellem 1975 og 1990 og medvirkede på fem af bandets plader. Han udgav sidst en soloplade, Communication , tilbage i 2003 – Bartos har arbejdet på soundtrack-projekter siden, og her er den endelig.
