Live at Shea Stadium, der blev optaget på New Yorks Shea Stadium i 1982, indfanger The Clash på toppen af sine kræfter og i ødelæggende form. Sprudlende med energi og attitude hører Live at Shea Stadium sammen med James Browns Live at the Apollo, The Who's Live at Leeds og Johnny Cashs Live at Folsom Prison som en af de største liveoptagelser nogensinde. The Clash, der åbnede for The Who på sin afskedsturné i USA, spillede to nætter på det legendariske Shea Stadium (12. og 13. oktober 1982).
