For at sætte gang i den første del af sin ultravoldelige kung fu-hævn-ekstravaganza tilbyder Tarantino Nancy Sinatras grublende "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)." Tonen skifter hurtigt til upbeat rockabilly med Charlie Feathers-smarte "That Certain Female", og de stilistiske skift bliver ved med at komme med Luis Bacalovs sprudlende spaghetti-westernmelodi "The Grand Duel - (Parte Prima)" og Bernard Hermanns uhyggelige "Twisted Nerve".
