Pladen indeholdt numre fra bandets 'Short Sharp Pain in the Neck'-turné, hvor de spillede Newcastle, Leeds, Norfolk og Belfast i løbet af en uge, i slutningen af marts 1981. Albummet på 11 numre – udgivet i juni samme år – indeholdt tre numre fra Ace Of Spades, fem fra Overkill fra titelnummeret fra deres debutnummer og to numre fra Bomber. Det var det eneste Motorhead nummer et album, og Lemmy er citeret for at sige: "Jeg vidste, at det ville være det live, der gik bedst, for vi er virkelig et liveband. Du kan ikke lytte til en plade og finde ud af, hvad vi handler om. Du skal se os."
