Vokalist Chris Thompsons sidste album med Manfred Manns Earth Band er klædt ud i Manns smukke keyboards. Angel Station har nogle nøgleøjeblikke -- "You Angel You," en Bob Dylan-melodi, der ikke lyder som Dylan, og ikke den måde, deres Top Ti-version af "Quinn the Eskimo"/"The Mighty Quinn" blev genopfundet. "You Angel You" har en stærk hook med førsteklasses Anthony Moore-produktionsarbejde, og det smelter ind i titelnummeret på Harriet Schocks skelsættende Hollywood Town-album, kilden til Helen Reddys "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady."
