Albummet er et vendepunkt for Prodigy and Havoc - og faktisk et rettidigt. Kort før Infamy kom på gaden, havde Jay-Z sprængt Mobb Deep – såvel som Nas – på "Takeover", og udtalte især Prodigy for at være falsk.
