Cruising with Ruben & the Jets er det fjerde studiealbum af Mothers of Invention. Udgivet den 2. december 1968 på Bizarre og Verve Records med distribution af MGM Records. Som med bandets tidligere tre albums er det et konceptalbum, påvirket af 1950'ernes doo wop og rock and roll. Albummets koncept omhandler et fiktivt Chicano doo wop-band kaldet Ruben & the Jets, repræsenteret ved forsideillustrationen af Cal Schenkel, som skildrer Mothers of Invention som antropomorfe hunde. Det blev udtænkt som en del af et projekt kaldet No Commercial Potential, som producerede tre andre albums: Lumpy Gravy, We're Only in It for the Money og Uncle Meat.
