Efter opløsningen af stonerrock-ikonerne Kyuss dannede sangeren John Garcia Unida med guitaristen Arthur Seay, bassisten Dave Dinsmore og trommeslageren Mike Cancino. Debuterede i slutningen af 1998 med EP'en The Best of Wayne-Gro, og Unida genopstod i midten af 1999 med fuldlængde Coping With the Urban Coyote; efter Dinsmores afgang blev han erstattet af bassist Scott Reeder. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unida
