The Dark Green Vinyl edition of the "Sling 5th Anniversary Dark Green Vinyl Edition" LP by Clairo is released on Fader and transfers the album’s intimate, carefully arranged sound world onto a colored vinyl that gathers all twelve tracks from the original.

Musically, Clairo draws on a vintage pop aesthetic with a strong singer‑songwriter orientation, combining elements of acoustic folk, baroque pop, and chamber folk. The songs are carried by delicate piano and Wurlitzer passages, ornate string arrangements, and subtly layered Mellotron textures; at the same time, the vocals remain at the center, giving space to the lyrically reflective themes. This blend of classical-style instrumentation and modern pop forms shapes the artist’s style and clearly sets the album apart.

The recordings were produced by Clairo herself together with Jack Antonoff and Sam Baker; sessions took place, among other locations, at Allaire Studios and Electric Lady Studios. In addition to Cottrill’s multi‑layered vocals, guest musicians on brass and strings, Evan Smith on woodwinds, and Lorde on backing vocals contribute striking accents. On the technical side, mastering and mixes are handled by seasoned engineers, ensuring that the vinyl‑optimized playback highlights the fine arrangements and warm analog tones.
