Leonard Cohen's fifth album (released by Warner Bros. in 1977) was produced and co-written by Phil Spector. The duo managed to write 15 songs in just three weeks together but only 8 made the final cut of the album. The combination of Spector's famous 'Wall Of Sound', a general sense of loose fun in the studio and the unbridled sexuality and voyeurism of the lyrics certainly represents a big step forward.
