Barnett, Courtney & Kurt Vile - Lotta Sea Lice

Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett have revealed the title and release month for their forthcoming collaborative album. Lotta Sea Lice is out this October. The LP is set to include a song called “Over Everything,” which Vile began writing in 2015. (That track is set to premiere tomorrow on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show.) Another song is another called “Continental Breakfast,” and Vile apparently wrote it while on a family vacation in Hawaii. Lotta Sea Lice will also feature a handful of covers, including their take on Belly’s “Untogether,” Jen Cloher’s “Fear Is Like a Forest,” and a Barnett rendition of “Peeping Tomboy” (from Vile’s Smoke Ring for My Halo).
