Wildly mis-cast and hopelessly confusing in narrative, and the only time Modesty made it to the big screen, the late John Dankworth’s score is just the job!  Featuring material previously unreleased, this stunning gatefold release is a must!It features new material and author Peter O’Donnell’s original sleeve notes. One bonus track has composer John Dankworth’s wife Cleo Laine mischievously duetting with Ray Ellington on “We Should Have”. In addition, this is a somewhat bittersweet occasion, as both the author of Modesty Blaise as well as the co-composer of the score, John Dankworth died in 2010 within a few weeks of each other.  We fondly remember them here.
