"Back to back" can refer to the Danish pop duo Back to Back, comprising Morten Remar and Nis Bøgvad, who had hits like "Jonathan" and "En Som Dig". It can also mean happening one after another without interruption, as in "three wins back to back," or positioned with their backs facing each other, like in the phrase "they sat back to back".
