Erykah Badu’s 1997 debut won the 1998 Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, as well as nominations for Nest New Artists and Best R&B song, for Baduizm’s lead single ‘On And On’, which reached No 2 on the Billboard chart.
