NEW VINYL LP ON UNIVERSAL 2026
180 GRAM GREY VINYL LP
Recorded in 1971 at Chappell Recording Studios in London during his exile, "Transa," Caetano Veloso's sixth studio album, was released in January 1972. The seven-track album was produced by British keyboard player Ralph Mace, who was part of David Bowie's touring band at the time. In his autobiography "Verdade Tropical," Caetano described "Transa" as one of his favorite albums, as he had achieved a higher musical level than ever before. The classic is now being reissued on grey vinyl with the distinctive triple-fold cover, in which the booklet and cover formed a triangle.
