Deep Purple present a completely remastered version of their 2005 album 'Rapture of the Deep', celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fresh mix, improved production and expanded packaging. The album has been remixed and remastered under the supervision of bassist Roger Glover at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, and the result is a previously unheard sonic clarity and dynamics in the album's mix - an almost completely new album experience is revealed.

The anniversary edition highlights all the strengths of an album that was created during a turbulent but creative period for the band - a time when, in their own words, they felt "a bit lost" due to a lack of support from the record company. Yet they came out the other side with sharp songwriting and true Deep Purple nerve.

In addition to the main album, a bonus disc with previously unreleased material from the 'Rapture of the Deep' recordings is included. Including the first official release of Steve Morse's instrumental track 'Closing Note', as well as extra jams and rehearsals that provide a rare insight into the creative process.
