Rock & Roll Hall of Fame icon John Fogerty presents a 20-track collection of newly recorded versions of some of his most iconic songs from his time with Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), including classics like "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son," and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." Fogerty now owns the full rights to his CCR catalog—a goal decades in the making—and "Legacy" marks his reclaiming of these songs, with each re-recording labeled a 'John's Version.' The album was produced by Fogerty himself and his son Shane, with his wife Julie serving as executive producer. A true family project throughout, the album features sons Shane and Tyler as guitarists, and also features musicians like Matt Chamberlain (drums), Bob Malone (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), and Rob Stone (saxophone). It's all mixed by acclaimed sound engineer Bob Clearmountain.
