After 44 years of collaboration, Laid Back is still not tired of making music - on the contrary. Soon they will be ready with the double album 'Road to Fame'. Still is not everything as usual.

On September 1, the Danish duo Laid Back will release the album 'Road to Fame', as in usual Laid Back style has been created without the shadow of stress and rush.
- We have often had to hear that we are too slow. But now here at a late age, I find that the inspiration is quite overwhelming. Most musicians probably peak in their younger years, but we first think that we are about to get there now, says John Guldberg.

The song 'Sitting in My Sofa' is released as a single with an accompanying video the double album 'Road to Fame'. The road to fame has been tried by the band themselves, when they had world hits with 'Sunshine Reggae', 'White Horse' and 'Bakerman'. To this day the songs can still excite and gather people of all ages, which Laid Back proved in classy fashion when they guest performed with Free Nationals at this year's Roskilde Festival in front of a packed Orange Stage.
