To celebrate the release of their astonishing debut album, Up The Bracket, The Libertines release a 20th Anniversary Edition on multiple formats, through Rough Trade. In addition to a remaster of the original Up The Bracket album, produced by Mick Jones (The Clash), this LP also includes a live recording from the 100 club in 2002.

Up The Bracket alludes to a slang term used by British comedian Tony Hancock in Hancock's Half Hour, implying a punch in the throat, which is a most fiiting title for this, The Libertines' raucous and brilliant debut. Recorded by none other than the legendary Mick Jones of the Clash, his not too rough and not too polished production wonderfully emphasizes the pedigree of The Libertines sound and the originality of it.
