M is the name of themusical collaboration by Robin Scott. He had a hit in the U. K. In April, 1979 with the popular track, Pop Muzik, which featured the vocals of Brigit Vinchon. Pop Muzik hit the charts at number 1 in the US on November 3, 1979, and reached number 2 in the U. K. Earlier that same year. Some of the other members of M, at one time or another, were Mark King, Wally Badarou, and Phil Gould. The band later became, Level 42. Thegroup had three other hit singles which reached the U. K. Charts. They were, Moonlight and Muzak hit number 33 on the U. K. Chart in December, 1979. That’s the Way the Money Goes reached number 45 on the U. K. Charts in March, 1980. The third single was, Official Secrets, and it reached number 64 on the U. K. Charts in November 1980.
