Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals (20th. Anniversary Edition)
Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals (20th. Anniversary Edition)
NEW VINYL LP ON UMC FOR RSD 2016
2 X 180 GRAM VINYL
After their self-titled debut album in 1992 was mostly disowned by the band, Ocean Colour Scene burst back with a vengeance four years later with ‘The Riverboat Song’. Following its use as the theme tune to TFI Friday the track became synonymous with Britpop scene and mid-‘90s indie culture. This, their 2nd offering, out for Record Store Day 2016 almost 20 years ago to the day of its first release, would be one of the biggest albums of 1996, selling over a million copies in that year alone and yielding hit after hit with ‘The Day We Caught The Train’, ‘You’ve Got It Bad’ and ‘The Circle’. Unavailable on vinyl since its release, this very special limited edition double LP has been pressed in a special red vinyl edition.
