The Wall is an album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd and was presented as a double feature. The Wall is described as a rock opera and was released in 1979 and became well known for its live performances and elaborate stage effects which were later turned into a film. The rock opera itself centres on a character called Pink and is loosely based on Roger Waters own personal life.
