Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo have always possessed an inherent understanding of harmony and guitar that has lead them to maintain a high quality output throughout their career. This new album, picking up on the themes of 2014’s Pe’ahi, is another solid outing. Lead single ‘Blackest’ has a big whack of the scuzzy groove guitar sound and intense drum machine loops that they made their name on. Second single ‘Killer’ is the album standout with its twinkling melody and lush harmonies.
