Copenhagen artist Anders Trentemøller has announced a new self-titled album, his first to feature vocals on every track. The guest-heavy record will be released 13 November via his own In My Room label.
Trentemøller loops in a diverse revolving door of singers for the record, including Anika, Sune Rose Wagner of The Raveonettes, Midwife, Tan Cologne, and Emma Acs. The decision to foreground voices marks a shift for the Danish artist, who describes treating the vocals as "an extra instrument" to play with.
Lead single “Terrified” features Jonas Bjerre of Mew, who also created the accompanying animated video. Trentemøller says it's "probably the poppiest song on the album." Check it out below.
