Young, Neil - Storeytone
Young, Neil - Storeytone
NEW VINYL LP ON WB 2014
2 X 180 GRAM VINYL.
Earlier this year, Neil Young released A Letter Home, the most lo-fi record he's ever made. (It was recorded in Jack White's phone booth-sized studio.) Today, he's announced an album made on the other end of the sonic spectrum. It's called Storytone, and it'll be out in November via Reprise Records. Young shared a new version of his recent pro-environment song "Who's Gonna Stand Up?", which was recorded with a 92-piece orchestra and choir. You can listen to it above. Additionally, you can listen to two other versions of the song: a live version played with Crazy Horse, and a solo acoustic version played at Farm Aid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Young
